For the production workshop in Amsterdam North, we're looking for colleagues to join us in building a new future that can change the furniture industry.

Workshop Colleague Responsibilities

• Cutting and assembling frames for various sofa modules.
• Applying foam and filling to the furniture framework.
• Sewing, gluing, and stapling fabric.
• Applying sofa covers to each module.
• Measuring and cutting upholstery materials.
• Performing quality checks on finished orders.
• Delivering and installing the sofas for customers, taking a photo of the customer sitting on the sofa with or without partners and/or family. A photo at each delivery of the Basta Sofa, with a smile.

Workshop Colleague & Floor Manager Responsibilities

all of the above plus:

• Coordinating and overseeing all steps in the production process to ensure that the sofa modules are produced and delivered on time.
• Transferring your expertise to your colleagues.
• Ensuring that health and safety regulations are followed.
• Supervising and managing the work of the sofa-producing colleagues in the production workshop.

What We're Looking For

• You fully support BASTA's mission and are more than excited about it! You believe in "strength in numbers" and want to be a cultural ambassador for BASTA so that you can rock and improve the world with your colleagues.
• It's nice if you've trained as a furniture maker, but it's not a must.
• You love to finish something perfectly, from start to finish.
• You can lift heavy objects and apply upholstery with enough force.
• Having a driver's license is very helpful.
